Haryana Polytechnic 2017 (DET): Application Form, Exam Dates, Pattern latest

Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) is the main conducting authority that organizes Haryana DET (Diploma Entrance Test). From 2017, no Haryana Polytechnic Exam will conduct. HSTES only organizes the admission process for admissions to various diploma courses in different streams of Engineering & Technology in the Haryana State. Haryana DET 2017 Notification has been released. Candidates will get admission into diploma courses on the basis of Inter-Se-Merit of the qualifying exam. Haryana Polytechnic 2017 Application Form

  • A candidate can get the application form from the official site. Haryana Polytechnic 2017 Application Form will be provided from 18th April 2017 and 20th April (for LE).
  • Candidates should fill the application as per the instruction given in the information bulletin.
  • After filling the form, candidates can take the printout of the filled application form and submit it to nearby collection center or HSTES, Panchkula along with the attested copy of the relevant documents & fee proof.

Application Fee:

The application fee will be Rs 500 for general category & Rs. 200 for all reserved category of Haryana. The candidate can pay the fee through E-Challan generated during filling of the online application form. Candidates can submit the fee from any branch of Axis Bank & Punjab National Bank. The fee is non-refundable.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for engineering & technology course are mentioned below.
  • Candidate has to pass the class 10th/SSC examination with Science & Mathematics.
  • They have to secure at least 35% marks (33% in case of SC/ST/KM category) at the qualifying examination.
  • There is no age limit.

Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: Haryana Polytechnic Exam will be held in offline mode (pen – paper mode).
  • No of Questions: In the entrance exam, 100 objective type multiple choice questions will be asked.
  • Duration: The duration of the exam will be 1 hour 40 minutes.
  • Language: The medium of the question paper will be English or Hindi both.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded to the candidates for correct answers.
  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

Syllabus

The Haryana Polytechnic syllabus will be based on the matric standard of Board of School Education Haryana. The syllabus will comprises topics of English, Aptitude and General Awareness Test, Mathematics, Science.

Haryana Polytechnic 2017 Admit Card

Candidates can get their Haryana Polytechnic (LE) 2017 Admit Card from online mode only. The Haryana DET admit card will be available from 18th May 2017. No candidates will be allowed to enter in the examination hall without admit card. The conduct body will not post or issue any admit card to any registered candidate.

Haryana Polytechnic 2017 Result

Haryana Polytechnic 2017 Result will be announced in the official portal of the conducting authority. The Haryana DET result will be declared 29th May 2017. No separate score card will be sent to the candidates. There will be no re-checking/re-evaluation of answers of the entrance exam. On the basis of the merit list candidates will be called for the counselling process.

Haryana Polytechnic (DET) 2018

Haryana Polytechnic (DET) 2018 admission procedure will be managed by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). It is organized to get admission into various diploma courses of engineering & pharmacy. Candidates will get the application form from the 4th week of April 2018.

Haryana Polytechnic 2017 Counselling

Haryana Polytechnic 2017 counselling will be conducted through online process. Candidate will register online for participating in the counselling (choice filling & seat allotment) after submitting the counselling fee. Candidate has to pay Rs. 500 as a counselling fee. The counselling will held in two rounds for admission to all diploma courses. After second counselling, no online counselling will be conducted. On the basis of the merit list, candidates will get admission in various courses of their choice.

Admission

After the counselling result announcement, candidate has to report in the allotted institution for admission along with the original documents. Candidate can print the provisional allotment letter from the official site. If a candidate will not report to the allotted institution during reporting period, then the particular counselling will be cancelled.
