NEET 2016National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test popularly known as NEET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by various government and non-government medical and dental colleges in India. NEET 2017 is conducted in place of AIPMT exam as per order by Supreme Court of India. One Time Correction facility offered by NEET officials is over. Here, we are providing the information about NEET 2017 application form correction details.

NEET 2017 Form Correction Details

There may be some mistakes in your filling particulars or with your images while you will fill the application form for NEET 2017 or uploading the images in same. The board looks softly to such matters and in focus to these mistakes board allow the correction period to make corrections in these particulars. Corrections in the filled details are open from 7th March 2017. The last date to make corrections in 12th March 2017. Candidates who have done mistakes in the application form particulars can not only submit their grievances in NEET 2017 but also correct online by login their account. The grievances can be submitted after login the account. CBSE will look to your grievances and communicate via email or SMS.

Correction In Other Particulars:

Looking into the requests received by the Board from the candidates to permit them to make correction in their data submitted in NEET application form, the Board has decided to provide ONE TIME CORRECTION OPPORTUNITY to the candidates only in the data which may affect the merit. Accordingly, correction has been allowed in the following data only in their online application form:
Date of Birth
Gender
Category
Disability Status
State Codes of Eligibility
Medium of Question Paper
For availing the correction facility, candidates are requested to visit the website during the schedule fixed for the correction facility. Correction in any other data is not allowed as this will not affect the candidature and the merit. Further, candidates are requested to be very careful while making corrections as no second opportunity will be made available for corrections.
After correction, candidates may print correction slip and retained the same for their reference and record. No correspondence thereafter will be entertained by the Board in this regard. Due to correction in Category, if additional fee will be payable, the same will be remitted through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the given period only. Parents are expected to read & understand the above information and help their ward in doing the needful correctly.

Correction In Scanned Images:

Candidates those have uploaded wrong Photograph, Signature & will be intimated by CBSE through an e-mail & SMS. Candidates can re-upload these documents by log in to the application portal in given time frame.
Candidates who will receive the SMS and email from CBSE regarding application form correction should re upload the scanned documents within 3 days. All the aspirants are advised to fill the application form carefully, if by mistake some entries are entered wrongly, then students have chance to rectify them within correction period. The board has been provided the one time correction opportunity in the field of Date of Birth, State Code of Eligibility, Gender, Category and Disability Status.

Corrections in the filled-in application form of NEET 2017 can be done by following these simple steps:
  • Visit the Official Site of NEET. (Link has been given above).
  • Visit “Candidates Login” link.
  • Enter your registration number and password.
  • Clcik on link for correction.
  • Now, correct your filled details in the application form.
  • Candidates are advised to correct the mistakes carefully as no second time correction opportunity will be provided further.
